LightNight 2021

LJMU is delighted to be supporting LightNight, one of Liverpool's biggest cultural festivals, once again this year.

LightNight 2021 takes place on Friday 21 May and celebrates the city's arts, culture and heritage venues.

The theme this year is play and explores how it can offer a space to create, re-imagine and find novel solutions to global problems.

The city's museums, galleries and studios will host a wide range of free events for all ages, both in-person and online.

LJMU is the principal sponsor of the event, which is produced by social enterprise Open Culture.

The full line-up of free events will be released online on Wednesday 5 May 2021.
